Canoeing

This was the highlight of the boys' trip. We went canoeing on the lake Saturday morning before we left. What made it more memorable to them was getting me quite wet. The boys were in one canoe and the girls, Tim and I in the other.

Melody-They loved helping us paddle the canoe.

A fire tower the boys climbed. They were overjoyed to find that they could get into the little outlook. My husband climbed halfway up with the girls and I waited patiently below.

Limberlost

We toured this house while we were camping . It was the home of Gene-Stratton Porter for awhile. One of my favorite authors of books from years past. She designed this house and had it built. It was a very upscale home during the time it was built. Of course, it wasn't on of my boys' favorite things we did. I really enjoyed it though.

Family Camping Trip

Had to post this picture of my husband cooking! Kitchen work isn't his thing, but he does a lot of the cooking when we go camping. No wonder I enjoyed it so much.

Update of my Life

We have moved to Indiana and are currently renting an apartment at the ICHA campground. We are planning on staying here until the Lord gives guidance about what we are to do next. We are attending church at Grace Holiness Church in Anderson, Indiana. Rev. Tim Wiford is the pastor. The Lord has really met with us in the services and it has been a healing time for us.

We do not have a phone line at the apartment, hence the lack of blogging updates.
I am spending the afternoon at my sisters house and am borrowing her computer. I came over here with the kids to see my Dad. He stopped here on his way back to Ohio.

Blogging from here on out will be quite sporadic due to our situation. Will try to update periodically.

Since moving here we have done lots of things and seen lots of people. We went on a picnic with the Smiths on Labor Day. We went back to Whitehall Indiana for the Homecoming Day at the church we pastored before, Last week the kids and I went with my sister Dixie and her kids to Conner Prairie. (That was neat!) and then over the weekend our family went camping at Oubachie State Park. We had a good time. I'll post some pictures in my next post unless my sister kicks me off the computer before then. Ha
