He Knoweth

"...He knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness:...the Lord thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing." Deuteronomy 2:7

He knoweth. What a comfort that statement is when the "He" is God Almighty. He knoweth the trials we go through, He knoweth the triumphs we face, He knoweth how to guide and provide just as He did for the Isralites as they walked through the wilderness those 40 long years. They lacked for nothing, as long as they hearkened to the voice of the Lord. He was there to carry them over the rough places. He was there to lead them when they way became blurred. He was there to provide for there needs. He always came through. We serve the same God today. He longs to make sure we are lacking nothing. His main concern is to make sure we have no lack in our soul. He knows the pain and heartaches we suffer and He is ready to gather us close and to carry us. (See Deut. 1:31) We may not understand all of God's ways but we must lean on Him for He knoweth...

In Deuteronomy 4:7 it states, "For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon Him for?" What a blessing to have a God who is interested in every detail of our lives! He is nigh when we need Him. He won't leave us in the wilderness alone. He is there. I'm so thankful that "He knoweth my walking.." and is "nigh...in all things that {I} call upon Him for.
